Artemis settled calmly then soon he was back up on his feet was he nervous? no not over some girl like Minerva he hoped not anyway he had only invited her round on a friendly visit what if she had taken this the wrong way? he groaned as he sat his hormones giving him hell to pay he sighed and forced himself to calm down as he waited

Minerva made her way to the Fowl Manor after Artemis had asked her around for a visit. She hadn't been here for a while, unusual for her.What if Artemis thought she was avoiding him for some silly reason? Shaking her head she waited at the door for Artemis to let her in as usual.

looking to the moniter he got to his feet and collected himself why should he let this girl effect him so much opening the door to her he stood aside "Good afternoon Minerva..been some time i dare say" he then let her in and shut the door behind him gesturing for her to head to the living room he glanced up the stairs hoping his mother would not wonder as she had done earlier

"Afternoon Artemis." Smiled Minerva walking in and to the living room. Taking a seat she said "I would have payed you a visit sooner but i'v been rather busy looking after Beau." Shifting her hair behind one ear she looked to Artemis "So how are you anyway?" she asked trying to be polite.

"usual Minerva, expect me to be any diffrent?" he mocked her he couldn't resist the occasional jab "care for a drink of sorts?" he said not looking to her as he poured himself a glass of water

Rolling her eyes she said "Your right, how silly of me to ever think you have more then 1 emotion." Looking up Minerva said "Water please?" She started to wonder why they couldn't avoid mocking each other for a day.

taking another glass and filling that he handed it to her and was tempted to ppor it over her but resisted he gave a mocking smile "don't let that blonde hair effect your brain waves Pradizo, " he then took his own drink and settled in the chair opposite her

"I thought you were smart enough not to judge someone on their hair colour...surely you know it doesn't effect people in any way." she sipped on the water and looked around slightly.

Mrs Fowl came downstairs to the Living room. She was now dressed properly and her hair was combed, It was quite an imporvement from before. Entering the Living room she said, without noticing Minerva at first ''Oh Arty, you simply must read that Hippo book, you should remind Butler to read me some more'' her eyes then fell on Minerva and she smiled ''Oh.. Artemis.. whos this?'' she questioned curiously

Artemis was about to give a retort when he frooze as he heard his mother voice putting his glass down he didn't look to Minerva at all he was almost embrassed by his mother although he did love her dearly he approached her took her arm and giuded her to sit in his chair "Mother..i thought Butler had taken you to your room..and yes..this is Minerva Paradizo, a friend " he then looked to Minerva not looking at her and saidn "Minerva this is my Mother.."

This was the first time Minerva had met Artemis' mother.Placing her drink on the table she stood and smiled "Pleasure to meet you." she said politely with a glance at Artemis then back to Mrs Fowl.

Mrs Fowl sat down on the chair as Artemis guided her to it. She kept smiling as her eyes were glued to Minerva ''Pleasure to meet you too, Dear'' as she spoke she continued to look at Minerva ''Oh and Butler had to go somewhere so i decided to come down here''

Artemis reframed his annoyence for he couldn't get annoyed at his mother she was a delicate and frail being it was hard to be mad at "mother.." he said clamly "perhaps you should go back and rest..you look not very will and you have to take your medication.."

She couldn't help but notice how pretty and delicate Mrs Fowl was. Minerva stayed quiet feeling slightly out of place now. Seeing that Mrs Fowl was looking at her she gave her a smile then continued looking down.

''Darling, you are very kind but i think i've had enough rest for today'' Mrs Fowl smiled at Artemis then turned to face Minerva ''So Minerva, How are you?'' she asked her.

"I'm very well thank you...yourself?" Minerva asked looking to Mrs Fowl with a smile. There was a slight resemblence between Artemis and his mother.

Mrs Fowl smiled and nodded ''Good to hear, Good hear.. i am well also, Thank you'' she said looking around the room ''Oh Minerva, isn't this a lovely room?'' she said as she looked at the walls of her own living room

"It's a very nice room." Smiled Minerva also looking around it and back to Mrs Fowl. She knew how much Artemis loved her..anyone could tell. "I hope Butler has been taking good care of you." this was rather silly to say as Artemis wouldn't have it any other way.

Butler walked out the kitchen with a clear glass and a jug of Orange juice on a brown, circuar tray. He looked over near the door and saw then all standing there, then notecing Mrs Fowl, he sighed and walked over. "Ma'm..surely you should come back upto your room and leave Artemis and his friend to chat" Butler held the tray with one hand and put an arm out for her to take, yet again.

"yes..Mother why don't you go with butler?" he offered then agreed "yes it's a nice room Minerva just came rond for a while to catch up.." he still would not look to Minerva at the thought of her looking to him and possibably silently laughing "Mother..you reall y should rest, youve been up and about on and of, it's not good..the Dr said for you to rest.."

Mrs Fowl looked up at Butler as he entered she smiled ''Oh, Butler.. would you look at them, Artemis has found himself a Girlfriend! he grows too fast for me that boy'' she said with a howl of laughter until she stopped and frowned ''That Dr his such a pain!'' she said angrily.

Artemis scrowled and muttered to his mother "she is not my Girlfriend mother..just a friend.." he said if he was any boy he would of found that comment rather embrassing

Butler saw by the expression of Artemis's face, that he was anything but happy. "C'mon Ma'm..lets get you back into bed?" he offerd, moving his arm towards her for Mrs Fowl to take, still holding the orange.
